Cosmofonia Akademie Basel
The Cosmofonia Akademie Basel is an institution dedicated to supporting young musical talent. The Akademie was founded in 2020 by members of the Cosmofonia Ensemble with the aim of providing young people in Basel and Switzerland with a comprehensive musical education at the highest standards. Following a carefully designed concept, weekly lessons, rehearsals, seminars, masterclasses, and regular concerts contribute to the training of the artists and art lovers of tomorrow.
Young musicians are welcome at the Akademie to study a string instrument (violin, viola, or cello) or piano. The Akademie was founded and is artistically directed by Agnès Mauri and Mateusz Pawel Kaminski.

1st Prize at the Finals of Swiss National Competition 2026!

David Sailer, cello, a student of Mateusz Pawel Kaminski at the Cosmofonia Akademie Basel for six years, has won 1st Prize in the finals of the Swiss Youth Music Competition 2026 in Zurich!
